I hate French so much I stopped eating French fries!
I studied in France and at Yale, whose French department has long been one of the university’s strong suits. I learned to treasure French and its contribution to world understanding. I especially delight in teaching spoken French.
Hey, now I can speak a little French! And my grades are up!
Without exception, the students I have tutored in French have made tremendous gains in mastering the art of conversation as well as achieving top grades and class ranking. I quote from a letter from the parents of one of my former French students:
“Jonathan Hoffman tutored our son William in French II several years ago when William was beginning to struggle with the subject. After several months of Jonathan’s guidance, William began to better understand the language, and his confidence as well his general aptitude in French improved. Two years later in William’s senior year, he was leading his class in conversational French, receiving straight A’s and glowing reports from his professor. In fact, in the year-end report she stated that she had never seen such a turn around in a student.”
Having a French fry problem? Let’s talk it over.
